A messaging server sends as you. Whatever the agent writes arrives under your name, to a real person, and cannot be taken back. That is the whole shape of the risk here, and it is worth deciding deliberately rather than discovering it.

Before you install one

Three things that separate the servers here, none of which shows up in a description.

Separate the reading from the sending.
Summarising an unread channel is a different job from replying in it. Where a server splits those into separate tools, you can approve the send every time. Where it does not, you are approving every future send at install time.
How much history can it read?
Some of these expose a single channel; others index every conversation on the account, including direct messages from people who did not agree to that. Read scope is a privacy question about other people, not just about you.
Incoming messages are untrusted input.
An agent that reads a channel and can also act is an agent that anyone in that channel can write instructions to. Keep read-and-act combinations for channels you control.
