    Book a real dental appointment at a UK practice via HelpDental. ALWAYS confirm the booking details with the user before calling this tool. This initiates a real appointment with a real dental practice. Returns a bookingId you must poll with get_booking_status. Some practices require an OTP sent to the patient's mobile (use confirm_booking_otp). Some require a small deposit (a depositUrl will be re

    Submit the SMS verification code the patient received from a Dentally booking. Call this after get_booking_status returns status='verification_needed'.

  • find_emergency_dentist

    Find emergency dental care near a UK postcode. Returns practices with emergency services, sorted by distance, with phone numbers for immediate contact.

  • get_booking_status

    Check the status of an in-progress booking. Poll this every few seconds after book_appointment. Returns status='verification_needed' if an SMS code is needed, status='payment_required' with depositUrl if a deposit is needed, status='done' on success, status='failed' or status='timeout' if it could not complete.

  • get_practice_details

    Get full details for a specific dental practice including services, pricing, opening hours, and reviews. Search by ID or name.

  • get_treatment_prices

    Get average treatment prices across the UK. Optionally provide a postcode for local pricing. Covers 24 treatment categories including check-ups, whitening, implants, crowns, fillings, and more.

  • search_practices

    Find dental practices near a UK postcode. Returns name, address, phone, rating, services, NHS status, and booking URL.
