Does Actually need an API key?: Yes. The registry entry asks for POLYMARKET_PRIVATE_KEY, ACTUALLY_WORKER_SECRET.
Is Actually maintained?: The latest release is v0.1.7.

Local package. It runs on your machine, not through the gateway.

POLYMARKET_PRIVATE_KEYsecretOptional. Your own Polygon EOA private key. Enables the trading tools (place_order, sell_order, cancel_order, get_open_orders, get_positions). Omit to run signal-only, which needs no key and no wallet.
ACTUALLY_MAX_ORDER_USDOptional. Per-order USD cap for the trading tools (default 100). Enforced server-side against the market's own price, so a caller cannot understate an order to slip past it.
ACTUALLY_DAILY_LIMIT_USDOptional. Rolling UTC-day USD cap shared by place_order and sell_order (default 500). Held in a persisted ledger, so it survives restarts.
ACTUALLY_ENABLE_REDEEMOptional. Set to exactly 'true' to additionally register redeem_position. A second opt-in beyond the private key, because it submits a real on-chain transaction through Polymarket's relayer and is still in testing.
ACTUALLY_SEARCH_FALLBACKOptional. Set to exactly 'true' to let check_news fall back to Polymarket's own market search when nothing in the cached set matches. Off by default: the query is built from the caller's text and leaves the machine.
ACTUALLY_SPEND_STATE_PATHOptional. Where the spend ledger is stored (default ~/.actually-mcp-server/spend-guard.json).
ACTUALLY_WORKER_URLOptional. Only if you run your own Cloudflare Worker instead of the shared default.
ACTUALLY_WORKER_SECRETsecretOptional. Shared secret for your own Worker. Not a private credential: the default one ships inside every client by design.
