write = sends, deletes, buys or postsget_motion_renderFreePoll a render started with render_motion_tool. Returns status, progress and (when completed) the MP4 download URL.
get_motion_toolFreeGet one Mographr tool's full schema: customizable fields (with max lengths and examples), design-system variants (use the variant id when rendering), color schemes, output size and an example render call.
list_motion_toolsFreeList Mographr's free motion-graphics tools: customizable animated video templates (lower thirds, titles, intros, callouts) that render a real MP4. Each tool supports custom text, preset color schemes and multiple design systems. Free renders include a small mographr.com watermark; each tool's page offers an interactive editor.
render_motion_toolFreeRender a customized MP4 with a Mographr free tool. Pass the tool slug, optional variantId (a design-system variant from get_motion_tool; defaults to the tool's default variant), optional colorSchemeId, and `fields` — the text values keyed by field key. Returns a renderId to poll with get_motion_render plus the interactive page URL. Free renders carry a small mographr.com watermark and take ~1–3 minutes on the CPU render lane.

Mographr MCP Server

What this is — and what it isn't
This is not a text-to-video model. It does not invent footage.
It renders a small catalogue of hand-built motion-graphics templates with your text, your colour scheme and your choice of design, and returns a real MP4 you composite over your own video.
That distinction is the point. A diffusion model asked for "a lower third that says Dr. Maya Chen" produces something that looks like a lower third and spells the name wrong. This renders actual text in an actual font on an actual keyframed animation — legible at 1080p, identical on every run, safe to put in front of a client.

Plain HTTP POST — no SDK required:
curl -sS https://mcp.mographr.com/mcp \
-H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
-H 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
-d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'Gotcha: the Accept header must list both application/json and text/event-stream. The Streamable HTTP transport rejects the request otherwise. This trips up almost every hand-rolled client.
