Read from the package source without running it. The installed server may list more.

  • extract_pdf_pageswrite action

    Write a new PDF containing only the listed pages, in the listed order. Use it to pull out a range, reorder pages ("3,1,2") or drop pages (list the ones to keep). Pages are 1-based; ranges like "1-3, 7" and reversed ranges like "5-1" work.

  • images_to_pdfwrite action

    Put JPG and PNG images into one PDF, one image per page, in the order given. Images are embedded as they are, without re-compression.

  • inspect_image_metadata

    Report the metadata hidden in a JPG, PNG or WebP photo: GPS location, camera make and model, capture time, editing software, and which blocks (EXIF, XMP, IPTC, comments) are present. HEIC files report EXIF only.

  • merge_pdfs

    Combine several PDFs on this machine into one, in the order given. The same file may appear more than once. Writes a new PDF and returns its path.

  • number_pdf_pages

    Stamp page numbers on a PDF. The template may use {n} for the page number and {total} for the last number, e.g. "Page {n} of {total}".

  • pdf_info

    Read a PDF on this machine and report its page count, page sizes, title and whether it was encrypted. Use before splitting, extracting or rotating to learn how many pages there are.

  • rotate_pdf

    Rotate all pages, or only the listed ones, clockwise by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, and save the rotation permanently in a new PDF.

  • split_pdf

    Split a PDF into several files of N pages each (1 = one file per page), written into a folder. Returns the list of files.

  • strip_image_metadatawrite action

    Write a copy of a JPG, PNG or WebP photo with EXIF (including GPS location), XMP, IPTC and comments removed. Lossless: the image data is not re-encoded. The original file is left untouched.

Your files stay put.

Free, open-source image and PDF tools that run entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, there are no accounts or limits, and it works offline.

Convert HEIC photos from an iPhone, merge, split, sign and compress PDFs, shrink images and strip GPS and EXIF data. Every tool is a static page and a bit of JavaScript and WebAssembly that does the work in your tab. There is no server that could receive your files.

Open the network tab. Your files never appear in it.

That is the whole pitch, and you can check it in three ways:

  1. Watch the network. Open your browser's developer tools (F12, or Cmd-Option-I on a Mac), pick the Network tab, open any tool and drop a file. You will see requests for the page's own code, the site's own decoder files on the pages that need them, and one anonymous page count. You will never see a request carrying your file, because there is nowhere for it to go. Every tool page also counts its own requests after you add files and shows you the list.
  2. Turn the network off. Load a tool, switch to airplane mode, and use it. It keeps working, because after one visit the site is cached by a service worker and the work happens in your tab.
  3. Read the code. This repository is the site. It builds to static HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no backend; the deploy has no server-side code at all. The privacy page lists every request the site makes.
