  • append_note

    Append content to a note (creating it if missing). Good for journals and logs.

  • broken_links

    List wiki-links that point at notes which don't exist.

  • create_from_templatewrite action

    Create a note from a template, substituting {{date}}, {{time}}, {{title}}, and any extra vars.

  • create_notewrite action

    Create a new markdown note. Fails if it exists unless overwrite is true.

  • daily_note

    Open today's daily note (creating it if needed) and optionally append a timestamped entry.

  • delete_notewrite action

    Permanently delete a note by name.

  • find_path

    Shortest wiki-link chain between two notes (BFS). Reports if none exists.

  • get_backlinks

    Find all notes that link to the given note via [[wiki-link]] syntax.

  • get_neighbors

    Notes within N hops of a note over the (undirected) wiki-link graph, depth/limit capped.

  • get_outline

    Return just the heading tree of a note — grasp a big note in a few tokens.

  • graph_overview

    Aggregate graph health: note/link/tag counts, top hubs, orphans, broken-link count.

  • list_notes

    List notes (newest first) with pagination and an optional tag filter.

  • list_tags

    List every tag across the vault with note counts.

  • list_templates

    List available note templates (from the templates directory).

  • list_todos

    Aggregate `- [ ]` checkbox todos across all notes. Open items only unless includeDone.

  • move_note

    Rename or move a note and rewrite every [[wiki-link]] pointing at it across the vault.

  • read_note

    Read a note by name. Optionally read just one heading's `section`, or a

  • related_notes

    Rank other notes by shared wiki-links and shared tags with the given note.

  • rename_tag

    Rename a tag across the whole vault — rewrites frontmatter tags and inline #hashtags.

Quickstart
