If you were looking for a way to have Claude or another AI assistant find the cheapest flight on a route, show a price calendar across flexible dates, resolve an airport or airline code or search hotels, this is it. 13 tools sit on the Travelpayouts (Aviasales) API: flight search, price calendars, hotel search, airport/airline/city lookup, direct routes and flexible date pricing.

Auth

API token passed via X-Access-Token header or query parameter. Retries on 429 (rate limit) and 5xx (server errors) with exponential backoff.

Demo Prompts

Uses lookupcities to resolve IATA codes, then getcheapest_month to find the best deals for the month.
