  Fact-check a single factual claim before you rely on it or state it in your output. Kodiak retrieves real sources, weighs them, and returns a verdict (supported / false / mixed / unsupported), a calibrated confidence (0-100), the cited sources, and a tamper-evident certificate ID that anyone can later verify.   Poll the status of a background fact-check started by kodiak_check_claim at depth 4-5. Returns { status: "queued" | "running" | "completed" | "failed", ... }. Recomputes the certificate hash chain and reports whether it is intact and unaltered — proving the verdict, sources, and issue time are exactly as originally certified.
